CCTV Surveillance systems used for preventing crime
surveillance camera system play an important role in preventing and fighting local and international crime. CCTV systems are deployed in public places or retail markets can avoid crime, make citizens feel safer. At present, most CCTV systems adopt digital for improved performance, which have quicker feedback than analog systems.
Evidence has shown that CCTV systems mostly avoid crimes and robberies, but some crimes such as rape and aggravated assault, CCTV systems can not catch these crimes because they may happen far away from the surveillance camera. In order to make a CCTV system be more effective, the electronic system must be used in conjunction with human know-how and skills and it should be carefully integrated into existing security plans.
